Role Overview:

We are looking for a visionary Business Development Director to spearhead our strategic growth initiatives and lead high-impact partnerships in the cryptocurrency sector. This senior role demands a blend of industry expertise, leadership acumen, and a proven ability to drive revenue at scale. You will shape the company’s commercial strategy, manage key stakeholder relationships, and position us as a leader in the blockchain space.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a global business development strategy aligned with company goals, focusing on revenue growth, market expansion, and long-term sustainability.

  • Partnership Development: Identify, negotiate, and secure partnerships with major industry players, including institutional investors, crypto exchanges, blockchain protocols, fintech firms, and regulatory bodies.

  • Market Expansion: Lead entry into new markets (geographic or vertical), evaluating risks, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscapes.

  • Team Management: Build and mentor a high-performing business development team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

  • Revenue Optimization: Design and oversee revenue models, including tokenomics, licensing agreements, and enterprise SaaS solutions for crypto clients.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, legal, compliance, and engineering teams to align business objectives with technical capabilities and regulatory standards.

  • Thought Leadership: Represent the company as a keynote speaker at top-tier industry events, webinars, and media engagements to elevate brand authority.

  • Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze market data, financial metrics, and blockchain analytics to refine strategies and report progress to the executive team.


Requirements:
  • 7+ years of senior-level business development, sales, or partnership experience within the cryptocurrency/blockchain industry.

  • Proven success in closing multimillion-dollar deals or strategic alliances (e.g., exchange listings, institutional custody partnerships, Layer 1/2 integrations).

  • Deep understanding of blockchain ecosystems, crypto regulations (e.g., MiCA, FATF guidelines), token economics, and emerging trends (DeFi, RWA tokenization, AI x blockchain).

  • Extensive network of C-suite contacts across crypto exchanges, VCs, liquidity providers, and regulatory agencies.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing remote or global teams.

  • MBA or advanced degree in Business, Finance, or Technology preferred.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience scaling a crypto startup or leading a business unit at a top-tier blockchain firm.

  • Technical familiarity with smart contracts, cross-chain protocols, or blockchain node infrastructure.

  • Fluency in multiple languages to support international expansion.
